Does Hubity integrate with our LMS?

LMS integration is not currently in the catalogue. Hubity holds the operations and staff side; student-facing learning lives in your LMS. The chat can reference curriculum documents you upload to workspace knowledge so instructors get fast answers.

Is student data appropriate for Hubity?

Hubity is designed for the operations side and is not built to be a student-records system. Student data appropriate for the assistant is what would normally live in a staff-facing operations tool (cohort lists, schedules, parent contact info), not protected academic records (FERPA scope). For US schools subject to FERPA, keep student records in your SIS.

How does the assistant handle curriculum updates?

Upload the new version; the assistant uses the latest version going forward and the older version stays accessible in version history. Instructors get a heads-up in the briefing when curriculum they teach is updated.

What about parent communication?

Announcements (broadcast) and direct messages handle the staff side of parent communication; for full parent-facing portals you would still use your dedicated tool. Hubity drafts the announcement; the director reviews and sends.
