Is Hubity HIPAA compliant?

Hubity is built for the operational side of a healthcare practice and is NOT designed to receive Protected Health Information. The product does not currently support HIPAA covered-entity processing or maintain a Business Associate Agreement. Practices use Hubity for back-office work; PHI stays in your EHR. We are transparent about this so practices can decide whether the fit is right.

How do you keep PHI out of Hubity?

Workspace memory and chat are pre-flagged in the product as "no PHI"; the chat will not accept patient names, dates of birth, or medical record numbers when it can detect them, and the practice manager can train the team on what stays in the EHR vs. Hubity. The assistant is also explicitly instructed not to write PHI to memory or knowledge.

Does Hubity integrate with my EHR?

Hubity does not currently integrate with EHR systems. The integrations catalogue covers communication, calendar, document storage, and CRM tools, the operational side. The intentional separation keeps PHI out of Hubity.

What about credentialing documents?

Credentialing files (licenses, board certifications, CME, malpractice insurance) live in workspace knowledge with renewal dates the assistant tracks. The practice manager gets a briefing item when something is within 60 days of expiry.
